1601 Tan Leather & Flesh Mesh
Great Shoes -- Problem Color!
These shoes are very comfortable for tango and a great buy for the price. These "C" series shoes are head & shoulders better than Very Fine's "Classic" line for design and fit. This style is especially good for someone with a wide ball of the foot. This is the 3rd pair I've bought of this style, which is excellent for class and practice. But there is one big problem with the pale beige color -- it almost immediately rubs off at friction areas (such as instep strap crossing, or places where one shoe might contact the other), leaving a white undercoat showing. This happened to both pairs I bought in this color (two different heel heights), but not to the black ones I bought. Now I have to find some matching shoe dye to cover these places. It's too bad, because I otherwise love the color, which is great for bare feet if you don't have a tan! So sadly, I have to reduce the 5 star rating I would given for fit and design down to a 3. Sorry -- just buy another color!
